If you want buy some product telecommunication, I inform a good idea to refer to the tips and tricks that we fit in this blog, by selecting the type of device that has an official certification label by DGPT has been through the process of certification , and the device has been tested by testing house Indonesia so that the device works well and does not interfere with telecommunications networks.

The telecommunication device has been certification and each manufacturer and importer must be make label certification on part of the device, if not possible can be made on packaging or packaging that can easily be seen, Number certificate and Number ID customers. Certificate holder shall put the label that made their own certificates on each tool at the latest telecommunication equipment 60 days since the certificate issued.

For users of telecommunications devices you please check whether the device you have or you have just purchased a certified label.

Test payment notification letter

In last my post at type approval certification, I inform about the laboratory reference letter, after the laboratory reference letter 0r ( Sp2 pengujian perangkat ) in process by BBPPT.

BBPPT can make sure how much testing expense devices, we can to know all testing fee device in the test payment notification letter. and we must payment to the State Treasury .

Payment test expense is a mandatory expense to deposit at bank mandiri with accoont Recipients DGPT Treasurer. So please to use telecommunication devices has been certificated by Directorate of General Post and Telecommunication

The laboratory reference letter

The laboratory reference letter or Surat pengantar pengujian perangkat ( SP3 ) is a letter reference from Directorate of General Post and Telecommunication to Test house or Balai Besar pengujian Perangkat telekomunikasi ( BBPPT ) for Tests conducted in the laboratory.

In the laboratory reference letter to same information about telecommunication device :

has met the requirements for testing at the institute of testing device (BBPPT) and Balai besar pengujian perangkat telekomunikasi ( BBPPT ) has been issued out details test expense in the form of bills that must be paid to the state treasury.

Testing method devices

1. Tests conducted in the laboratory BBPPT.
2. Tests conducted outside laboratory BBPPT.

What is different the tests conducted in laboratory BBPPT or test conducted outsite laboratory BBPPT. where on the sample devices will be tested directly given to the BBPPT officers . But in testing conducted outside laboratory, the devices sample testing to be replaced by a recommendation letters to be make sure sample device which states that the test would have been installed and ready for field testing conducted.

In the process tests conducted out laboratory, the BBPPT form 1 team testers for make sure the devices sample has been installed and do it testing.

Why telecommunication devices must be certification

Because certification is given before products are marketed in Indonesia, all approved product carry approval labels. If there is no label, you should not buy that product. It could a prohibited model. The danger is that prohibited product may interfere with i.e. The cellular networks, causing interference to other user’s hand phones.

To protect consumer interests, the enforcement officer regularly inspect shops selling telecommunications equipment to ensure that there is compliance with the licensing conditions. Equipment vendors importing or selling non certified equipment for use in Indonesia are liable to face prosecution.

So please using the telecommunication equipment has been certified.
